Unless you just blew-in from Pluto, chances are good you know about WordPress. WordPress, for millions of bloggers, is the most favored content management systems (CMS) around. Of course that does not mean that only bloggers can use it. Regardless of the type of site, or purpose, WordPress can be used for it.

They are important questions to ask before you start to use any platform, blogs need plug ins and IM tools need the facilities to use advanced functions like proxies to enable anonymous surfing and hiding your IP address.

You probably don’t need to be told how prevalent cell phones have become, so it would be a good idea to take advantage of this. One of the best features of this plug-in is that it gives site viewers an option of viewing your website with a “desktop computer display” or a “mobile browser display.” This way your viewers and readers can choose whichever format best suits them. Only one choice and no options is never appreciated by anyone.

You can optimize your links for the search engines with SEO Smart Links. You make your settings, in the plugin itself, so it knows what expressions and phrases you want your site to be known for. SEO Smart Links will take your important keyword phrases, then it will creates links to other pages where they also occur. You can specify links to posts, pages, tagged words or even categories. Plugins add tremendous flexibility to an already versatile CMS platform which is what WordPress is. Anyone can use it because there is absolutely no charge at all for any of it. No matter how much you want to customize it you will never spend a dime on the platform. You can add or change themes, code tweeks, add any plugins, etc. You can do this without being a programmer or web designer, and there’s no previous experience required.
